David John Smith

David John Smith, 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home in Ogden, UT.  David was born in Ogden, UT, to Harry John Smith and Jacqueline "Jackie" McCamish.

David was a siding installer and worked for many construction companies in Utah, Nevada and Oregon.

David enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and barbecuing for family and friends in his back year.  He also enjoyed woodworking projects, "he considered himself a Jack-of-all-trades."  

David is survived by his soul mate and companion of 19 years, Denise Clontz; and Wanda Capps, his aunt (LV, NV); and his uncle Waren (Kay) McCamish (Ogden, UT).  He is also survived by his daughter:  Ashley Smith and Chamberlee Christensen; and his sons:  Casey Benjamin and Derrick Young (all from Ogden, UT).

David is preceded in death by both of his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 5 pm to 9 pm in David and Denise's back year.

David, you will always be in my heart and thoughts forever.  Love, Denise.
