In Loving Memory
DeAnn Susan Eason “Dee Dee”
03/06/1972 – 07/22/2023
DeAnn Susan Eason, caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, 51, passed away on July 22, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 6th, 1972, in Ogden, Utah, to loving parents, Richard Eason and Valeen Etterlein. She resided in Clearfield Utah near her three girls prior to her passing.
DeAnn brought so much joy to the world while she was here. To describe our mother would be to write about a hurricane in its perfect power. She adored her two grandchildren, Byron Velasquez and Lincoln Keller. She had a passion for gardening, bass fishing on the boat, camping, dirt-biking and snowmobiling. When she was able to, she would go for long runs up Settlement Canyon in Tooele, attend rodeos, the derbies and festivals. Her love for the outdoors allows us to take comfort while continuing the activities she loved. She was our wild, loving, caring, hard working and adventurous mom. She was the heart of our home, and she will be missed tremendously. The one thing we were always told was that her three girls were her world, and we felt that too.
DeAnn was able to donate her kidneys to two different donors across the country. Although our mother didn’t get the chance to live a few more years, she has given two different people the gift of life, and for that, we know she lives on in others.
She is survived by her mother, Valeen; father, Richard (Pheobe); three daughters, Jamie Lee (Lincoln), Jessica May and Tara Nicole Kilburn (Byron); four brothers, her twin Daniel Eason(Tara), James Eason, Joseph Eason(Stacy) and Brian Etterlein; three sisters Shelly Mackie, Sheila Lamb(Lance) and Erika Latimer(Ryan); She was preceded in death by her two sisters Jennifer and Jacqueline Eason, her grandmothers Aileen Retzko and Beth Eason; her grandfather’s Valentine Retzko and George Eason. May she live in our hearts and through all the memories we continue to make.
The family would like to especially thank the McKay Dee Hospital Intensive Care Unit and nurses Nikki and Kendra for touching our hearts and caring for our mother at her bedside.
