Deborah J Arnold

July 14, 1954 — June 20, 2013

Deby passed on to be with the Lord on June 20, 2013, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born July14, 1954 in Seattle, WA to William and Ruthie Poch. Deby attended Washington Schools and in the late 70s moved to Layton, Ut.

She married Joe Arnold in 1981 and worked for the Davis School District. Deby loved life and shared her love as a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Step Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother!.

She enjoyed going to Wendover with her girl friends for a weekend, never coming home without fun memories! She loved to go fishing, camping, water and snow skiing. Multiple Sclerosis came into Deby's life in 1983 and she did not let this stop her from enjoying life and sharing her love! Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, flower arrangements, country music, and watching a good movie. Her family of pets, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a big collection of fish kept her busy.

She Loved the Lord, and reading the bible on tapes, and with friends and family, always teaching by example and a smile on her face!

Deby is survived by her husband Joe, Mother and father, 2 brothers, Mitchell and Bill living in MT. and her three sisters, Bethie and Lindsay in Washington, and Kathy in northern CA. Her son Greg resides in Nevada; her 2 daughter-in-laws Tammy of Logan, UT. and Shawna and husband, Chris living in Layton, Utah. There are 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandbaby.

The staff of Specialty Nursing did a wonderful job over the years caring and supporting Deby. The last days, Inspiration Hospice was the support and ensured all of Deby's needs were met 24 hours a day. Davis Hospital ICU and the Third floor staff gave much love and care while treating Deby. A Big "Thank You" from the family goes to all who cared and gave so much! Ann Scott, Sarah Flint, and grandson Chris are truly an inspiration of what a "Care-Giver" is. Their love and care to Deby was truly remarkable. A memorial will be in a couple of months, with an announcement forth coming.
