Deborah Lynn McDowell Barney

Deborah Lynn McDowell Barney Deb passed away December 10, 2013 after a short illness. She was born August 10, 1951 in Yuma, AZ to MaryAnn Flores and Clarence E. McDowell. Deb married Christopher F. Quintana in the spring of 1967. They had one son, Chris, and 2 daughters, Kim and Jacque. They later divorced. She then married Steven Barney. They also divorced. Deb worked at ATK for 26 years. She retired in 2010. Deb had a contagious love for life and a sparkling smile that her friends and family will miss. She is survived by her loving companion Greg Stuart, son Christopher A. Quintana (Tiffany), daughter Kimberly M. Quintana, and 4 grandchildren Natalie, Decker, Brian, and Cache. Siblings: Clarence E. McDowell (Freda), Mike A. McDowell (Sue), Dennis L. McDowell (Val), Scott A. McDowell (Kelley), John L. McDowell (Nancee), Shirley A. Callihan (Jerry), and Melissa True (Kirk), all of Ogden. She was preceded in death by both parents and her daughter, Jacqueline R. Quintana. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden, UT.
