Deborah Conroy

September 27, 1959 — October 29, 2015

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Deborah (Debbie) Conroy passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born September 27, 1959 to John E. and Audrey J. Conroy.

The daughter of an air force man, Debbie grew up on military bases across the world until her family settled in Ogden, UT.  Early on, she married Laron Anderson and received her first daughter, Heather. Years later, she divorced and married Lon Baird and welcomed her second daughter, Tiera. After her second divorce, Debbie remained a single.  Debbie worked many years at Hill Air Force base as an aircraft mechanic and at the Harrisville Walmart as a cashier.

Debbie loved to bake, crochet, and do crossword puzzles. She had tremendous patience and love for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She would make sure she always had homemade cookies ready when they would visit. She loved to spend time with them at the park, painting, drawing and coloring, and taught them how to crochet.

Debbie is survived by two daughters, Heather (Brian) Thomas, Tiera Baird; step son, Jason (Ashley) Seiber;  seven grandchildren, Kaitlin, O’rion, Joey, Kenley, Brooklyn, Zander, Mia; siblings, Cindy (James) Davis, Shelly (Larry) Carver, John (Kara) Conroy, Paul (Barbie) Conroy, David (Amy) Conroy; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Audrey J. Conroy; brother, Michael S. Conroy; and niece, Allie Conroy.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 6th, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden, UT. A graveside service will be held following this service at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, UT.
