Ogden - Debra Jane Walker Weese, 57, passed away on March 26, 2011. Our beautiful mother, grandma, sister, aunt, great-aunt and special friend returned home quietly to her Heavenly Father. Daughter of James Eli and Marjorie Jane McFarland Walker she was born October 21, 1953. She grew up in the Ogden area. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School and later pursued her Medical Assistant degree and had a talent for retaining knowledge in the medical field. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she had a quiet but strong testimony of her Heavenly Father that carried her through many difficult times. She was mindful of and showed compassion to others around her. Debbie liked reading, trying new recipes, various crafts, gardening and shopping. She was also instrumental in many merit badges an sincerely enjoyed helping her children with innumerable homework assignments. In her younger years she delighted in fishing, hunting, camping, and anything involving being in the outdoors. She married Craig Weese Sr. in 1970 and later divorced. This union was blessed with four beautiful children, Craig Jr, Wendy Jane Nye (Shane), Clint James (Sarah) and Jayson Carl (Angi). She was a special grandma to her granddaughters, Kaylee Dawn and Kylee Lynn (Craig); Jalan McKenzie and Shannyn Jacey (Wendy); Jayden Saige, Hope Cheyenne, Destiny Jay and Kiaya Lea (Jayson). Debbie is also survived by her sisters, Sheri Walker Campbell (Steve) and Jan Walker Cummings (Ken, deceased) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at noon at the North Ogden 4th Ward Chapel located at 1791 North 600 East in North Ogden. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the church prior to the service at 11 am. In leiu of flowers please make a donation to a memorial account at America First Credit Union.
