Deloris Goist

June 2, 1922 – July 15, 2016

An original “Rosie the Riveter”; she was a feisty individual who let everyone know what she thought.  Raised in Beaumont, CA she met Guy Johnson at the end of WWII and they remained married to each other until his death in 1991.  They had one son, Wes Johnson who resides in South Weber, UT with his wife Ruth. She had two grandsons, Mark and Timothy; one granddaughter, Rachel and husband, Nate; and one great-grandson, Evan. They fostered one daughter, Danice Allen, who lives in Kaysville, UT with her husband, Alan.

In 1991 she and Guy moved to Uintah, UT to be near Wes and his family.  After Guy’s death she married Robert Goist in 1993 until his death in 1999.

She is preceded in death by three sisters Lennelle, Katie, and Betty and one brother, Jim.  She has two sisters still living, Sue and Marie; and two brothers, Bill and Jack. She also has a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her ashes will be buried in the family grave at Mountain View Cemetery in Beaumont, CA.
