Denise Caldwell Walker

Ogden – Denise Caldwell Walker passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 24, 1953 to Zane Hatch and Arawanna Barney.  She was later adopted by Warren T. Caldwell.

She attended Bonneville High School.  Denise was a hard worker.  She worked at IRS for 16 years where she retired in 2015.

Mom was an avid reader.  She would always recommend her favorite books to her friends and family insisting they read them.  Her hobbies were oil painting, pogo, puzzling, music and cross-stitching.  She stitched many beautiful pictures and Christmas stockings for her family.

Denise loved having fun.  She enjoyed going on road trips, playing pogo with her sisters and friends, and spending time with her children.  Some of her biggest pride and joys were her grandkids.  She was one of their biggest fans and was so proud of them.

Getting together with her children and grandchildren mean the world to her.

Denise is survived by her children:  sons, Michael Anderson and John (Angela) Crane; a daughter, Jacoy  (Blaine Kimber) and eight grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Damron,  Zanaya (Paul) Marriott, and brother, Brian (Mona) Caldwell and many nieces and nephews.  Her family woud like to extend a special thanks to IHC Homecare and Hospice and a heartfelt thanks to our hospice nurse, Julie to whom we couldn't have done all we did without her.

A celebration of life for her family and friends will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Lorin Farr Park. 769 Canyon Rd. Ogden, UT 84404 from 12pm-2:30pm.
