Dennis Eugene Kruitbosch passed away Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025, from natural causes at his home. Dennis was born in Ogden, Utah, on August 20, 1945, to Herman Benjamin and Wanda Kruitbosch.

Dennis was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sisters, Elnora and Jolene.

Dennis married the love of his life, Linda Lee Burch, on October 25, 1962. They shared 59 beautiful years of marriage and raised three children: Daniel Eugene (Carol) Kruitbosch, Tamara Lee (Max Jr.) Twitchell, and Linnae (Wes) Scott. Dennis was a devoted grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly and would do anything for.

Dennis worked tirelessly throughout his life, primarily as a semi-truck driver. He preferred routes in the western United States, allowing him to return home to his family within two or three nights. He cherished his time with them and disliked being away. Known for his childlike spirit and infectious spunk, Dennis was the life of the party and a natural leader in any endeavor. His passion was hunting in the West Desert mountains, where he loved taking family and friends to sight in guns. He took great pride in their accuracy, often explaining they were “dead on!” As an excellent marksman, he had every reason to be proud.

Dennis approached everything with determination and competitive edge, succeeding in all he set his mind to. His family still fondly plays by his rule that a “leaner” in horseshoes is worth two points! LOL!

Dennis will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is now joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Linda, in heaven, a moment he has prayed for since her passing on January 25, 2022.

Per Dennis’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral, and he will be cremated.
