Derrick Adam Brown

July 11, 1985 — January 11, 2024

Derrick was born on July 11, 1985, in Tooele, Utah to Debra (Debbie) Ellen Nielsen Brown (Mother), and Lowell Kent Brown Sr. (Father). Our precious Derrick passed away peacefully and pain free next to his beautiful mother who he loved with all his heart, on January 11, 2024, at McKay Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah. He is survived by his parents, his brother LK Brown (Breanne), and their children (nieces), Khloe (13), Lilly (7), and Maizie (1).

Derrick LOVED to make anyone and everyone happy. He would do just about anything to make you laugh or simply put a smile on your face. And his laugh could be heard eleven city blocks away. He was an amazing cook and deeply enjoyed cooking for anyone who would let him. He took great pride in making sure any meal he served was nothing short of exceptional. Derrick loved everyone he knew. Whether he was giving food, laughs, smiles, or anything else, Derrick was always generous with anything he had. He loved his family and friends dearly and would do anything for them. Derrick absolutely adored his nieces and one of his favorite things to do was spend time with each of them. He was a hard worker and was always dedicated to his work. He took great pride in everything he did.

Since he was young, his dream car has always been a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Derrick realized his dream and bought his “Silver Stallion” just two short years before he passed. Derrick would say that his greatest accomplishment was that everyone in his life knew how much he genuinely loved them.

So long, sweet brother. Until we meet again ❤️
