Donald James Burgher passed away after a brief illness at his home in Ogden, Utah on May 31, 2024.
Donald was born on December 8, 1966, in Grand Junction, Colorado. There he spent his childhood and attended high school at Fruita Monument High School. Donald earned his machinist certification and worked at various companies that contracted with the US government for specialty parts for fighter jets.
Donald was the second of four children from Gary and Dorothy Burgher. Donald and his father and brother competed in many gun competitions which formed a special bond with each of them during this time in their lives.
Donald was a kind and loving person who loved his nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. He always had an open home for them.
Donald is survived by his mother, Dorothy Burgher of Ogden, Utah; brother, Eugene Burgher of Grand Junction, Colorado; sister, Brenda Butchko (Rick Sackse) of Grand Junction, Colorado; and sister, Jenifer Mazza (Frank Mazza Sr.) of Grand Junction, Colorado; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Burgher.
