Donald R Crampton

Donald R. Crampton, 85, of Ogden, passed away December 20, 2012 at his home. He was born April 18, 1927 in Denison, Iowa to Raymond and Opal Crampton.

He married Erma Tjaden in 1947 and together they raised three boys. They were later divorced. He married Susan Andrews in 1985. They spent many happy years traveling. After retiring from Sitka, Alaska, they settled in Ogden, Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Susan and sons, Gordon (Sherri), Terry and Dennis (Gail) Crampton; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also by two brothers, Bob (Irene) Crampton and Herb (Margaret) Crampton; two sisters, Eula Freeze and Bonnie (Paul) Wilkens.

Don served in the Navy Seabees very proudly during World War II.

Cremation under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary of Ogden. As per Don's request, no funeral services at this time.

He will be buried in Lehigh, Iowa at a later date.
