Donald Lee Gossard

In loving memory of Donald (Don) Lee Gossard, 78, who passed away peacefully September 28th, 2013 at the home of his grandson Donald Lee Joseph, surrounded by his children.

Don was born April 11th, 1935 in Rapid City, SD, to Robert Marion and Roberta (Bobbi) Thomas Gossard.

Don married Jeanette Childers on November 16th, 1957.

Don served 3 years in the U.S. Army as a Radio Communication Specialist. He then became a professional truck driver.

Don is survived by his children: Linda, Mary (Mace), Cathy (Kenne), Barb (Dale), Don, John (Stacie), 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and his brothers Robert (Donna) and Lynn (Phyllis).

Don is preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, son James and grandson Red.

Per Don's request, there will be no services. He will be cremated at Aaron's Mortuary then buried at the Veterans Cemetery in Draper, Utah. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's fund or any retirement home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Don's grandson, Donald Lee, for his dedication in seeing that is grandpa was comfortable in his last few days with us.
