Donald Wayne Hill

Donald Wayne Hill passed away peacefully on February 13, 2017 surrounded by his family.  Born October 1, 1945 to Ralph and Lillian Hill, in New Bedford, Mass., Don’s love of the ocean followed him throughout his life.

 He graduated from Utah State University with a degree in communications and worked as a Radio Announcer for radio stations around the country.

His service to others was life-long:  having first served in Vietnam, and later assisting teenagers with disabilities.  Don was a great man and loving father.  He loved sports cars, dining at restaurants, playing guitar, New England Patriots football and spending time with his family relaxing at the park throwing a Frisbee around.

Don is survived by his three children: Alan Hill, Robert (Kristina) Hill, and Angela (Robert) Kinney; the mother of his children, Karen Seaman; longtime friend, Elaine Safioleas; and his many grandchildren: Braden Hill, Alyssa Hill, Cameren Kinney, Carter Hill, Brodi Hill, Presten Kinney, Jaron Hill, Tannen Kinney, Logan Waters and  Autumn Hill.  

He was preceded in death by his mother,  Lillian; father, Ralph; and  his aunt, Dorothy Smith.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2 pm,  at the Clearfield 4th  Ward, 838 E 600 S, Clearfield, UT.
