Keith, 79, of Willard, Utah passed away peacefully in the company of his three daughters, Toby, Angela and Jenny on Saturday. To know love is to give love and our Dad loved life, his family, and a sense of adventure. He was born in Cape Town, South Africa to Kathleen Marie Teresa and Robert Albert Herbert Langmann and was one of 5 siblings.
He left home at the age of 25 seeking adventure and landed in England in the early 1960’s. He continued to travel Europe for the next few years and eventually landed in Ogden, Utah where he settled down to live the rest of his life. Always carrying a camera in his hand, his photographs and travel journals are now beautiful pieces of history documenting a life well-lived.
He was a trained auto mechanic and loved tinkering around and fixing cars. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t have a fixer-upper project sitting in his garage. He was an avid snow skier and spent many hours teaching his 3 daughters how to ski. Sailing, fishing, racing cars and riding motorcycles were some of his other passions. Our Dad loved a good joke and had a funny sense of humor—one that keeps us laughing even after his passing. He had a profound love for his grandchildren, Taden, Paileigh, and Sydney, and his influence will last their lifetimes. He taught us to live a life of no regrets and we are comforted knowing he was proud of his life and legacy he is passing on.
He is survived by his sister, Moyra (Lully) James.
We will be having a Celebration of Life party in his honor on Dec. 28th, 2017 at 3pm- 8pm at his home in Willard Bay. Please join us to share your favorite memories of Keith.
Cremation services entrusted to Aaron’s Mortuary. Our father was an organ donor so in lieu of flowers please donate to https://www.yesutah.org/donate-now/
