Donald Gene Wilson

Donald Gene Wilson, born November 9, 1945, passed away quietly in his home on January 24, 2013. Don was an all-around cowboy his entire life and loved classic country music. He was a bronco and bull- rider and loved horseback riding. His favorite actor and idol was John Wayne. Don served in the military and was a Vietnam Veteran. Don's favorite things were fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Don was a great father and a loving grandfather. He was "a wheeler, a dealer, and a mighty fine fellar." Don is survived by his daughters, Catherine Wilson and Donnell Vincent and two additional children; a grandson, Cody James Wilson and 10 additional grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 6:30 pm at the LDS Church located at 4210 S 300 W, Riverdale, UT 84405. Please wear Western Wear to the services in honor of his life. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account in Don's name at Wells Fargo Bank to help pay expenses.
