Donna Fleming Purrington Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away January 18, 2014 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family. She was born May 24, 1929 to Thelma and Dennis Fleming. She grew up in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School where she then met the love of her life Max L. Purrington and later married on July 27, 1947. They had 62 wonderful years together, and raised a son and two daughters who meant the world to them. Donna loved her family more than anything, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy They loved her dearly and will miss her so very much. Donna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Donna worked for many years as a school cook at Roosevelt Elementary School and formed many wonderful relationships there. Donna loved being outdoors and always pointed out the beauty of it. She was a hard worker, and loved her home which was always immaculate. She took pride in everything she did, but her greatest joy was being a mother. She was always thinking of her family first, never thinking of herself. She is survived by her son Mark L. Purrington of Tooele, daughter Diane (Kevin) Mcleod of West Haven, daughter Cindy (Rich) Love of Farmington; 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Robert Fleming and one sister Marian Fleming Munson. Donna was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends and family may call at the mortuary from 930 to 1045 prior to the service. Interment will be at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
