Dootsadee Hawley
On the morning of August 14, 2015, Dootsadee Hawley, 72, passed away in her home.
She was born January 2, 1943, in Bangkok, Thailand, to the proud parents of OB and Prian Poysoongnern. While in Thailand, she met her true love TSgt James R. Hawley (Retired, USAF) and they were married on August 18, 1975, in Korat, Thailand. They shared 40 loving years of marriage together.
With her husband and two children she settled in Clearfield, UT, where she worked many years at Freeport Center in Manufacturing until she retired in 2000.
Dootsadee was a member of Wat Dhammagunaram of Utah (Layton Buddist Temple). She enjoyed her daily workouts at the gym with her husband and was an avid gardener who loved to plant and smell her flowers and took pleasure in shopping. She also enjoyed frequent getaways to Wendover with her husband.
Our mom, wife and grandma will be remembered for her love for her family, her giving heart, her delicious Thai cooking, her shouting out âoh my goshâ when something caught her by surprise, her laughter when her son-in-law joked with her, and for Disney Channel night with her and her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, James; children, Angela Hawley-Romero (Michael), Brian K. Hawley; and granddaughter, Malaya. She was preceded in death by her loving parents.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 11 am at Aaronâs Mortuary, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening, August 19, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm and from 10 am to 10:45 am prior to service at the mortuary. Interment Clearfield City Cemetery.
