Dora L. Arthur Owens
Dora L. Owens, 91, passed away June 4, 2015 of natural causes.
She was born July 15, 1923 to Elmer and Florence Arthur in Ft. Bridger, Wyoming. She attended Fort Bridger grade school and Mt View High School.
She moved to Ogden, Utah in 1941 where she met and married James K. Owens. They had three children. She worked at Sanitary Laundry, The Ogden Arsenal, and Keely's Cafe in Ogden. Her hobbies included sewing, crochet, and reading.
She is survived by her son, Ralph and daughter-in-law, Sherry Owens of Ogden; six grand-children and seventeen great-grandchildren.
We would like to thank grand-daughter, Amy Montoya and her daughter, Emily Owens for their love and care extended to Mom after she became widowed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Jeanette Kay Hill; and son, James Wayne Owens.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah
