Dorothea (Dot) Fallat, 93, passed away March 28, 2012, caused by a fall accident at her home in Pleasant View, Utah. She was born in Mt Vernon, New York January 2, 1919 to Lewis and Williametta Ehrdar Krontilik .
She resided in Mt Vernon until September 8, 1940 when she married Theodore F. Fallat. They moved to Danbury Connecticut and raised two children, Dorothea and Theordore, Jr. who was employed for 22 years at the Barden Manufacturing Company as an inspector of precision ball bearings. In 1981 the family moved to Missoula, Montana until 2004 when they moved to Pleasant View to be close to their son because of Theordore Sr.'s progressing blindness.
Dot loved to do craft work such as painting, needlepoint and crocheting. Her real love, besides being a devoted wife and mother, was gardening. She loved flowers.
She was an active member of St James Catholic Church in Ogden, Utah.
Dot is survived by her husband, Ted Sr; her children, Dorothea (Dot) Kupesky, and Ted Jr.; four grandchildren, Ted III, Jim, and Rebecca Larsen, and Heidi Harberson; four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Faith, Connor and Tanner.
She is preceded in death by her parents and all seven of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at the St James Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
