Douglas R Davis

Born on September 2, 1949, and welcomed into the world by Inez Davis and Robert Davis.  

Died December 2, 2024.

He served in the United States Marine Corps November 1966 - December 1970. During this time, he had a tour in Vietnam for a span of eighteen months during his service.

He got married to his beloved wife, Virginia Davis on September 5, 1969. (Elizabeth City)

He has lived a very adventurous life while he was with us. He was a great man and very driven by family and his morals. He did a great job at protecting all of us when he had served our country during his enlistment. 

He has been surpassed by many that will be left thinking of him.

Father to Douglas Jr, and adopted sons Eddie and Scott 

Grandfather to ten grand kids 

Great grandfather to fourteen and counting 

Siblings- Penny and Allen, Ron and Ernie, Larry and Terissa, Dennis, and Claudia and Art.
