Douglas Lamar Hurst

Douglas Hurst, 56, passed away April 27, 2016 due to complications from the H1N1 Flu  at McKay-Dee Hospital surrounded by his family.  Doug was born July 18, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Gerald L. and Marilyn Davis Hurst.  He grew up in Sunset, Utah and attended Clearfield High, and he had worked for Abby Carpet and Fram Corporation.

 He enjoyed cars, loved music and had a soft spot for animals and would lend a helping hand to anyone.  Doug did have his struggles and he finished strong,.  He was a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his parents; children, Ericka (Jason) Kidman, Skyler Hurst, Jared (Mary) Hurst, Ryan Hurst; siblings, Shane (Debbie) Hurst, Michael (Margaret) Hurst, Lisa (Frank) Champlin. Doug had five grandchildren and a niece and nephew.

Private services will be held at a later date.
