Dr Bruce Clyde Hunter, MD, died unexpectedly at Ogden Regional Medical Center, Ogden, Utah on the 24th of November 2023 in Ogden at the age of 78.
Dr Hunter is survived by his Soulmate, Best Friend and wife of over 30 years Sheila Kathleen Hunter, their daughter Jojuana Allen Hunter of San Antonio, Texas and their 4 grandchildren: twins Liana and Vanessa, Adam and Sophia. Dr Hunter is also survived by his former wife and Dear Friend Montyne Fulton and her husband(Gordon) of Az and their seven children: Matthew, Dr. Daniel Hunter (Carolyn) and Jason (Wendy) Utah, Kristin (Sean) Az, Keri(Andy) Idaho, Kim (Craig)Conner and Lila Jessica and her 4 children, a total of 26 grandchildren.
Bruce loved playing the organ; being a medical doctor, OB/GYN for over 25 years; loved his hometown Ogden, Utah. Bruce loved his Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Taylor Canyon Ward. He served an LDS mission in Germany for 2 1/2 years. Bruce also served his country during the Vietnam War, he became a Major in the Army stateside.
Thousands of patients, thousands of friends and many others who know Dr. Bruce Clyde Hunter especially his wife who loves him eternally and look forward to being with him again. Thanks be to God in Heaven and our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the sealing power of the Temple -We, his family look forward to being with him for time and all eternity and know that he is in heaven, receiving all the blessings his pure heart has poured out in this life. Sheila and Bruce were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, and all of his family love him and his patients are thankful to have had him as their doctor. He has truly never said one unkind word. He lived his life without any guile. He is a descendent of the many kings and queens of England, Scotland, etc. and he conducted his life in such a way that manifested a deep humility for such an amazing background. Dr Bruce Hunter is beloved of his wife, family and friends forever.
