Dustin Benevento

Dustin Benevento, 32, passed away April 9, 2015. Dustin was born July 4, 1982 giving his family and friends good reason for extra celebration each Independence Day.

After graduating from Weber High School in 2000, he married the love of his life Christina Marie Gonzalez. Together they had 2 beautiful children who were adored by Dustin from the moment he first held them.

Dustin was a devoted father, husband and son, who loved all things outdoors. Golfing, fishing and camping were at the top of his list. His career of choice was in the automotive sales industry where he flourished with success, holding high level positions with large companies and eventually becoming a  self-sufficient business owner.

Dustin was known as a genuinely caring and loving man who lived to create memories for those around him. A friend accurately described him recently as one ofthe brightest lights in Ogden. Dustin touched the heart of everyone he came in contact with.

A man who had a great sense of humor, passion for everything in his life and most of all a big warm heart, he is loved by all and missed by everyone who knew him.

Dustin is survived by his wife Christina and their two young children who have each witnessed him move mountains just to see them smile. Searching every jewelry store between Utah and the West Coast to find the wedding ring his bride wanted was just one of his million selfless acts.

On Thursday, April 16, 2015 a memorial service will be held at  6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 3 p.m. at St Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Friends may call from 1 to 3 pm prior to mass at the church.
