E Dorrene Jensen

Our loving mother Dorrene Jensen went to join her beloved husband on June 1, 2016. She was 83 years old. She was born November 12, 1932 in Ogden Utah, the daughter of Ira and Velma Thompson. She was second oldest of 12 children.

She married Darrel Jensen on November 19, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had six children:  Larry Jensen (Joyce) of San Diego, CA; Rodney Jensen (deceased) (Kevan) of Roy; Delmar Jensen (Jeanne) of Rexburg, ID; Sherry Ricketts (Larry) (deceased) of Ogden; Tony Jensen of  Ogden; and Teena Jensen of Clearfield. She had 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchidren, 11 great-great-grandchildren with another one on the way.

She was a member of the LDS church, and over the years held many church positions.

Mom loved her family, especially the grandchildren whom she adored. She enjoyed making cakes of all kinds, crocheting, crafts, and various needle

works. She was a very talented lady.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, son-in-law, granddaughter, four brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by three brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services will be held Monday June 6, 2016 at the Elwood City Cemetery, in Elwood Utah at 12:00 noon.
