Edith LaVirl Jackson

Edith LaVirl Linton Jackson passed away April 23, 2022. Edith was born March 14, 1922 to John Barrett Linton  and Frances Mary Child in Logan, Utah. She was one of 11 children and the last to pass away. 

She was married to Arnold Adam Jackson (deceased) and had four children: Francey (Phil deceased) Barry (Aug 19, 1948 to Jan 3 1949) Paul (Rachael deceased) (Barb) Mark (Lynne)

She’s survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Primary worker for many years.

She loved to draw and paint a talent from her father and passed on to grand and great-grandchildren. She preferred her middle name LaVirl and that’s how

she signed her beautiful pieces of art.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11 am at the Clearfield City Cemeery, 1050 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah.
