Edna Mary Anderson

September 16, 1930 — June 8, 2024

On June 8th, 2024, our beautiful loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Edna Anderson passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Edna had one of the hardest work ethics and had a character of great integrity. She loved her children, friends and family dearly and had a dedication to help anyone and everyone in their time of need. Edna will always be remembered by her strength and determination that will always be admired by many.

Edna was extremely gifted in her attention to details and will be remembered for her quick wittedness and her intelligent mind (she remembered everything).

She was born in Ogden, Utah to Phillip Pons and Erma Mattie Jones. She married Glen W. Hulse in 1947. They welcomed and raised six wonderful children, Johnny Hulse, Dennis Hulse, Larry Hulse, Cheryl Hulse, Chris Hulse, and Kaylene Williams. Edna and Glen’s marriage was later dissolved. Edna entered a second marriage to Verl Anderson and later that marriage was dissolved.

Edna was a lifetime resident of Ogden. She was one of the first classes of Ogden High School to graduate. She was a dedicated Jehovah Witness and served her time faithfully. She loved her Meetings and Conventions and talking to people about the New World where there will be no more death or pain Revelation 21:3,4 and how there will be a Resurrection of life Acts 24:15.

She will be missed immensely and the footprint she made in each of our lives is immeasurable. She is survived by two Sons and one Daughter, Johnny G. Hulse (Linda), Dennis L. Hulse, Kaylene Williams, one Sister Evelyn Gonderman, one Daughter-in-law Sherrie Hulse, fourteen Grand kids, thirty-four Great-Grand Kids and fifteen Great-Great Grandkids.

Preceded in Death Parents Phillip Pons, Erma Mattie Jones, Sons Larry G. Hulse, Chris Hulse, Daughter Cheryl Hulse, Granddaughter Jennifer M. Hulse, Granddaughter Melissa Beus, Sisters Erma Kinney, Phyllis Lucero, Brother Conrad Lee Pons, Son-in-law Jeffrey Richard Williams and Daughter in-law Tamra Hulse.
