Eileen Louise Schafer

Eileen Louise Schafer passed away peacefully, age 95, October 24, 2015 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah.  She was born June 21, 1920 in Greenwich, Ohio, and lived there for 72 years in the same house, then moved to Euless, Texas, and then to Clinton, Utah.

She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1938.  A member of the United Methodist Church of Greenwich and a former member of Amity Chapter 166 of the Order of Easter Stars for 43 years.

Eileen worked and managed the Greenwich Theater for 12 years.  Then was a billing clerk at Sanit-All Products Corporation for 15 years, at Westinghouse Air Brake Company for 5 years, at the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation office for 6 months, and bookkeeper at Fishbaugh Construction Company for 22 years before her retirement.   She enjoyed reading and working with plastic canvas.

Eileen is survived by her son Paul and wife Marcia, living in Clinton, Utah; granddaughter Kelly and her husband, living in Harrisville, Utah;  and grandson Kevin and his wife, living in Layton, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Etta Beveridge and ex-husband, Joseph Schafer.

Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary at 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.   Interment will be later at Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, Ohio
