Elizabeth D. Agricola

May 27, 1927 — November 27, 2010

Ogden - Elizabeth DeWilde Agricola, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010, surrounded and supported by her loving family.

She was born May 27,1927, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Katherine Wishman DeWilde and Simon DeWilde. She had three sisters.

She was married to Norman F. Agricola for 52 years.

Liz was an avid gardener with her husband, Norm; between the two of them they grew and canned the best vegetables in town and loved to share them with anyone and everyone. She loved to play cards and had a group of women she would get together with once a month; they called it Club Night and they would play cards for hours.

Liz especially loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. For years she had a summer place in Ogden Valley at the Eagles Family Trailer park and she with her granddaughter, Brandy, would spend every weekend in the summer at her trailer camping spot. During the deer hunt she was the "Camp Boss" and camp cook.

Liz was a little woman with a huge presence. Her two best friends were her daughter, Norma and son, Russell. She was very grateful for the care she was given in her later years by Norma and her son Russell. Her greatest joy in life was her children and her grandchildren.

Liz is survived by her four children Russell N. Agricola of Ogden, Norma (Corey) Theall of Ogden, Robin (Steven) Rubino of No. Ogden, Ranae Agricola of No. Ogden; two grandchildren, Brandy Hulmston of No. Ogden and Tyler Rubino of No. Ogden.

Liz is preceded in death by her husband Norman F. Agricola, her mother and father, her three sisters, Kathryn Hess, Louise Garvey and Lucille Marriott, and one niece Debbie Fisher.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice for the special care they have given to our Mother, especially at the end.

Mom, Grandma, we will miss you so much. Words cannot express the sorrow and loss we feel so until we meet again, we love you.

A small memorial will be held on Friday, 3 Dec, 2010, at 11am at the Larkin Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah.
