Ellen Renee Cragun Butcher

Ellen was born to Willard E and Annie Kell Cragun
in Ogden, Utah. Annie passed away in 1946, and in
1948 Willard married Grace Wallace, who was a
wonderful mother to the children. Grace also presented
the family with a great new brother.
Ellen graduated from Ogden High School, Class of 1961.
She then began her nursing career at Thomas Dee School
of Nursing. Ellen obtained her RN from Weber State College,
then Ellen and her sister Bonnie moved to California where
Ellen resumed her nursing career, which lasted 43 years.
On Sept 22, 1973 Ellen married Darrell Butcher in Las Vegas,
Nevada. From this marriage she gained her son Scott Butcher.
The family spent many happy years, traveling, camping, and
enjoying their extended family.
Ellen was proceded in death by her parents, brother John,
sisters Marge Davis and Bonnie Ryan.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel; son, Scott (Laura); brothers, Ralph Cragun, Brent Lee Cragun (Lynette), and Willard S. Cragun (Waltrud).
The family thanks the staff at both McKay Dee and Heritage
Park for the care Ellen received.
A Celebration of ELLEN'S LIFE will be held on March
21, 2015 at 2626 W. 5525 S. Roy, Utah. Family and Friends
are invited to attend, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM.
