Ellenee W Sexson

April 21, 1970 — September 13, 2014

Ellenee Walters Sexson, "Elle", passed away at home on September 13, 2014 after her battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was born on April 21, 1970 to Richard Ray Walters and Josephine Bia Walters, where she joined her sister, Geesette Walters-Clark, and brother, Jed D Walters.  She married her husband and partner, Michael Shane Sexson, on December 12/14/1990 and soon moved to Clearfield where they started their family.  Ellenee is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Caleson Shane, Dakota Joe, and Jakob Michael, and daughter, Tesla Elle.  She is preceded in death by her father, Richard.

Ellenee was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. You would have a hard time finding someone who cared about animals more than she did. Being a stay-at-home mom was more important to Elle than any job she could have worked. She was adamant about recycling and caring for the environment.  She would often bring home recyclables from parties and gatherings and would even pick up trash in a store parking lot as she entered to shop.

Elle loved to shop, but not just to buy things; she loved the bargain hunt and she was very good at it.  Some of her proudest moments were when she was complemented on her outfit knowing all the items were found at a very low price.  She also loved her yard and would be found most of the spring, summer and fall days working in it. When the yard was in full bloom, almost every passerby would comment on how beautiful it was.

Music was a very important part of Ellenee’s life. She loved going to concerts, clubs with live music and following her favorite musicians and bands from Queen to Kip Moore to Brian Ferry.  Being social, going out and meeting people was when Elle was in her happy place.  She rarely went out when she did not make a new friend. Facebook was a perfect way for her keep in touch with her new friends, reconnect with old friends, and even make friends she never met in person.

Ellenee will be terribly missed and forever loved and remembered by her family and all those who knew her.
