Elpidio was born on April 4, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Elpidio Rodriguez Sr. and Socorro Casares. He was born into a large family of 4 sisters and 7 brothers. He worked most of his life as a farmworker, handyman and various other jobs. He always did the best at what he did and took pride in it. He was a perfectionist. He enjoyed to travel and visit various family members. He especially loved going to Wendover to gamble with his only son-in-law Adrian. He was retired when he was diagnosed with ALS. He was preceded in death by his son Javier, his brother Hector and his father Elpidio Sr. He is survived by his wife Esperanza of 48 years and leaves behind his beloved son, Elpidio III, 4 daughters, Elaine, Mabel, Rosie and Patty including 21 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids. We would especially like to thank his Hospice Nurse Kristy and Angel who he truely loved. Thank you for making him feel loved. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.
