Eva May Link Davis

March 4, 1923 — June 14, 2016

Eva May Link Davis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, into the arms of her Lord and Savior, whom she loved and believed in with all her heart. Jesus said, "lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20

Eva May was born in Webb City, Missouri on March 4, 1923, the only daughter of Julius and Bertha Robinson. Her early years were spent in Kansas City, Missouri, where she attended school and graduated. After high school she was employed as a seamstress making parachutes during the war. 

On December 23, 1943, she married David A. Link. As very dedicated and loving parents they raised three children in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  In 1964 she was widowed but later found happiness again in marriage to Eugene Davis. Together they spent 16 years in Arizona on the Hopi and Navajo Indian reservation. While residing in Arizona, she finished her college education at NAU in Flagstaff. She enjoyed working as a librarian at Tuba City High School for many years. Upon her husband’s death she relocated to Roy Utah to be closer to her daughters.

Eva May cherished her family. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Pool of Roy, UT.,

Deborah (Buzz) Wendzel of Riverdale, UT., and her son Paul (Mona) Link of Chowchilla, CA.

She also leaves six beloved grandchildren: Deborah (John) Fox, Kristin (Mark) Greenamyer, Debra Link, David Link, Michelle (Tony) Stephens, Adrianne (Doug) Ware, as well as, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Eva May will also be sadly missed by her longtime childhood friend Bonnie Richardson.

The family would like to thank the South Ogden Post Acute Care Center for their loving care and compassion during this time.

Eva May was a member of Washington Heights Church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Washington Heights Church, 1770 East 6200 South,

Ogden, UT.   Interment will follow in Cheyenne, WY at a later date.
