Evelyn Ruth Tarver

Evelyn Ruth Tarver (Archer), age 93, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Brigham City, Utah, surrounded by family.

She was born March 31, 1931, in Alamosa, Colorado to Clyde Lawrence Archer and Silva Margaret Ekhoff. Evelyn married Denzel Webb Tarver on February 3, 1950, in Nampa, Idaho.

Eveyln was an active Member of the Brigham City Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed many hours sharing the Bible’s message with the community. Evelyn took comfort in the resurrection hope In Acts 24:15 of the resurrection to life.

Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and working on her home.

Surviving are her four children: Gary (Angela) Tarver, Midvale, Utah, Donnie (Connie) Tarver, Bear River City, Utah, Denise (Ed) Pebley, Brigham City, Utah, and Donza (Norm) Wilcox, Brigham City, Utah; sister, Sylvia Martinez; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Silva Archer; brothers: Clyde Junior Archer (Irene), Delbert Archer (Betty), Kenneth Archer (Lilly), and Kearney Archer (Marcella).
