Florentino E Lovato

Florentino E. Lovato, 79, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 9, 1945, to Petrolino and Sara Lovato, in Lubbock, Texas. Florentino grew up in Texas and later moved to Ogden where he married Elizabeth Lovato on May 21, 1982. They were married 39 years. Later moving to Washington where they resided for 14 years, later returned to Utah in 2002.

Tino loved and was loved by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews very much.

Although he was tough, he had the most beautiful and kindest heart. Always making sure everyone was ok.

Tino enjoyed time with family dancing and singing.

Special appreciation to his daughters, Tina & Sandy, for caring for him for the past 3 years. We are going to miss our father, grandfather, uncle, and brother very much.

Florentino is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons: Tina Varela (Lorenzo Varela), Sandy Valenzuela, Andrea Lovato, Andy Lovato (Tanzy Lovato), Davie Romero; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Lovato; parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary of Clearfield, 1050 S. State St., Clearfield, UT. Friends may visit with family at a Viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Clearfield City Cemetery.
