Frank L. Volante, passed away October 3, 2014 after a long battle with illness in Davis County, Utah. He was born December 28, 1939 in Evanston , IL., son of Anthony F. Volante and Esther L. Volante. He was a graduate of Evanston Township High School, and attended Loyola University in Chicago.
Frank was a chemical engineer for Bell and Howell, a production engineer for Bendix Corp, and finished up his career as a software developer for TCH the financial service arm of what was then Flying J in Ogden, Utah.
He enjoyed writing, an occasional golf game; he was an expert marksman and was an active parent in his children’s youth sporting events as a coach and parent.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister Marina.
He is survived by his brother Carl Volante and sister Ann Volante. He had six children, Anthony, Juli, David, Lenny, Kara, Joseph, and 14 grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah followed by a short Graveside Service at 2 pm at the Clearfield Cemetery.
