Gae Victoria Dunn

Gae Victoria (Vickie) Dunn passed away peacefully February 11, 2018, surrounded by family. Born in Los Angeles on December 18, 1942 to William and Gae Monson the family relocated to the Ogden area while Vickie was young. Graduating from Ogden High School, she married Cory Dunn October 1, 1963. Together they had three children, a boy and two girls.

Vickie built a career working for Clearfield Job Corps, achieving numerous recognitions and awards. She retired after 38 years of devoted service, planning to spend more time pursuing hobbies and interests.  Over the years she especially enjoyed volunteering with the Girl Scouts of America and traveling. Vickie found incredible joy spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, doing crafts and scrapbooking with them as often as she could. Vickie was an avid cat lover and always had at least one to keep her company when she was at home.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Monson (Chris) and survived by sister, Pat Martinez (Manuel); her children:   Wally Dunn (Lyndee), Christie Fewkes (Richard), and Brenda Heslop (Drew).  She has 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are planned for Monday, February 19, 2018 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah, at 10:00 a.m.  Family will welcome friends Sunday evening, February 18, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary located at 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.  Interment services will be at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah  immediately following the funeral service.
