Gary Eugene McLean

 Gary Eugene McLean, 69, passed away August 1, 2016, from injuries sustained in an accident. Gary was born January 31, 1947, in Vernal, Utah, to Eugene and LaVerda McLean. He spent his youth hunting, fishing, and working in his father’s construction business. 

After graduating from Uintah High School in 1965, he served an LDS mission in the Eastern States. While attending Ricks College, he met his sweetheart, Jewel Robinson McLean, and they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on Valentine’s Day 1969.  

Gary will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his sense of humor, hearty laugh, and the cherished moments he spent with family and friends.  

He is survived by his wife of 47 years; children: Angie Steward (Dave), Christy Lee (Mike), Tracy Lafferty, Chad (Angela), Clint, and Mathew; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. 

A graveside service will be  held Thursday, August 4, 2016, at 12:00 pm (noon) at the Rock Point Cemetery, Maeser, Utah.
