George Earl Andrascik

George Earl Andrascik, 78, passed away at the George E Whalen Veteran’s Home in Ogden, Utah on Sunday, August 1, 2021 after a lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  He was born on August 14, 1942 in Center, PA to George M Andrascik and June M Henry.  He joined the Air Force after graduating high school which brought him to Utah.  After leaving the Air Force he worked as a civilian at Hill Air Force Base, where he retired. He worked on many missile projects with the Sidewinder Missile being the last.

He is survived by his four children, DeDawn (Darin) Hodgson, Clinton (Carrie) Andrascik, Kirk (Jenna) Andrascik , Courtney (Kierstan) Andrascik, 10 grandchildren, his brothers Steve (Pat) Andrascik and John (Connie) Andrascik. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother Cary.

The family would like to thank the staff at the George E Whalen Veteran’s Home and Bristol Hospice for their care and compassion to George over the last three years.  They are truly angels on earth.

Private services will be held at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, Camp Williams, Bluffdale, Utah.
