Our family sadly announces the passing of our father, George A. Wilson of Ogden, Utah on November 20, 2014. George was born November 26, 1927 in Burley, Idaho to Aaron Wilford Wilson and Mary Olive Campbell. George had five sisters and two brothers.
He joined the Navy at the young age of 17 during WWII. After the war he met his eternal companion,Jean L. WIlson amd they married in Freeport, Illinois, Oct 1948.
George retired from Hill AFB after 30 years.
Surviving are his children: Daughters, Diana (Greg) Noall of Ogden, UT and Blenda (Kevin) McCarty of Flemington, Mo; and son, Wilford (Rosie) Wilson of Harrisonville, Mo; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandcihldren.
A viewing and small service will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 9 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 10 am at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4300 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT.
