Georgia Nadine Hill

a€" Our loving mother, grandmother and friend, Georgia Nadine Shannon Hill, 78, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2009. She was born April 3, 1930 in Zincville, Oklahoma, to Roy and Sara Casteel Shannon.

Georgia was raised in Ogden and was a 1948 Ogden High School graduate and attended Weber College. She married Vernon Hill and from that marriage three beautiful children were born, they later divorced. She was a member of the LDS church.

She was a loving mother and dedicated her life unselfishly to her children and grandchildren, and a sincere friend to all. She was an excellent cook and impeccable housekeeper.

In recent years Georgia suffered from numerous health problems and her family is grateful her suffering is over and she has returned to Heaven to reunite with loved ones.

Georgia is survived by her children; Pamela, Brian and Brent, eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express gratitude to the Infinia personnel for the excellent care.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. - Aultorest Memorial Gardens a€" 836-36th St. Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held from 11-12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Larkin Mortuary, 496-24th St. Ogden, UT.
