Glen K Munson

Glen K. Munson, 74, passed away August 12, 2012 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born July 14, 1938 in Ogden, a son of Earl F. and Genevieve McGlone Munson. In 1958 he married Sandra Jean Buck in Elko, Nevada. They had two children, Debra and Ronald, and were later divorced On March 23, 1968 he married Rose Lynn Shurtleff West. They had one child, Glenna, plus raised Deborah McDonald, one of Rose Lynn's children from a previous marriage. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1956 and Weber State University in 1959 majoring in Auto Service. He worked for many automotive shops in the Ogden area as well as Marquardt Aircraft and was a retired Aircraft Mechanic from Hill Air Force Base. He was thought of by many to be an excellent automobile mechanic and an all-around handyman and enjoyed doing that very much. He also loved hunting and fishing in previous years. Glen loved all of his children and grand children as well as all of his family and friends Glen has a special love for Caleb Munson (his grandson) who he had the pleasure and privilege of helping raise and being with Caleb for most of his life
