Gregory Lee Goff, passed away on November 9, 2024, at his daughter’s home in Perry, Utah.
He was born on April 19, 1951, in Nampa Idaho, the son of Charles William and Gloris Poole Goff. Greg graduated from Skyline High School and LDS Seminary.
Greg’s most recent marriage was to Lynell Goff. They were married for 20 years, although they divorced 12 years ago, they maintained an enduring love and friendship.
Greg was a skilled craftsman, whose hands could turn visions into tangible reality. His aptitude for welding and strong mathematical skills fueled his diverse endeavors, which included working for FEMA, driving for a transport company, and contributing to the family business, American Arms.
No challenge was too daunting for Greg; he embraced each with enthusiasm, blending ambition with an innate talent to master the tasks at hand. There was truly nothing he couldn't achieve if he set his mind to it.
Greg's personality shone brightly through his love for adventure and imagination. Whether he was building something new for a friend or family member or simply exploring life's possibilities. He gained his happiness by making other people happy. He was always willing to lend a hand and loved engaging in conversations. Greg started his love of riding motorcycles with his best friend Dave, at the age of 16, when they rode away to Las Vegas on their bikes, they have been riding together ever since.
Greg had a gentle heart. He had an amazing ability to connect with animals. Although he loved all species, dogs were his favorite.
His strong desire to love and be loved guided his actions throughout his life.
Special thanks to Shelley for her friendship, care and kindness of our dad throughout the recent years.
Survived by his daughters, Kami (Tracy) Erwin, Jenny (Greg) Harris, Heidi (Tom) Murdock, and Brittney (Ken) Chugg, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Charles (Nora) Goff Jr., sister-in-law Cindy Goff and his most recent four-legged companion Higgins.
