Guadalupe Rodriguez

November 8, 1924 — July 26, 2021

Guadalupe (Lupe) Rodriguez, a life-long resident of Ogden, UT, passed away on July 26, 2021

peacefully amongst her family by her side at the age of 97.

Guadalupe was the last of her children and siblings but is survived by four generations of

grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband Jose Rodriguez; son Manuel; daughters:

Bernadette, Hope, and Josephine; sisters Cornelia, Mary, and Stella.

Guadalupe was born in Colorado but later moved to Ogden, UT. She always talked about taking

care of her sisters and what it was like growing up on a farm. She was known to everyone for

being such a kindhearted and giving person who loved all of her grandchildren and

great-grandchildren equally. She enjoyed making her pinocchio candy with her special

ingredients. She will forever be the heart of our family and the beginning of so many passed on

traits. “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away and be at rest.” Psalms 55:6.
