Guillermo D. Rodriguez

"Handyman Willie"

Guillermo D. Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2014. Dad was born on February 4, 1945 to Everardo and Raphaela Delgado Rodriguez in Uvalde, TX. Dad was raised in Uvalde, but also grew up in Idaho with his Tia Edubigen and Tio Daniel.

Dad loved his kids, but to him we were his babies, and his grandbabies. His family was most important to him. He loved to do everything with us. Dad's passion was welding, he was very good at what he did.

Dad met and married Sylvia Armendariz, together they had 3 children. They later divorced. He then met and married Margrett Fraga and together they had 7 children.

Dad is survived by his children, Chon Willie, Elena (Samuel), Desiree, Dianne (Abel), Guillermo "Rudy", Angela, Michelle (Alex), Valerie, Willie "Chnot" and Daniel (Tralin). 25 grandchildren with 2 on the way and 1 great granddaughter with 1 on the way. Dad is also survived by 1 sister Raquel and 2 brothers Alfredo and Rick.  Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and many, many friends whom he will be missed by.

Dad was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Edward and Rudy and grandparents.

"We may have lost an angel here on Earth, but Heaven gained the best one yet!"

We would like to thank Dr. Biehn and the McKay Dee ICU team for giving Dad their devoted care and patience.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Handyman Willie fund at any America First Credit Unions. Thank You!
