Gwendolyn Charlotte Westover (Gwen) gained her independence from this mortal life on the 4th of July 2015 from natural causes.   Gwen was born October 18, 1929 in Cedar City, Utah to Marion Mathoni Lauritzen and LaVerne Rosenberg. She had 2 siblings Norman and LaRae.

She moved all over the world but settled in Holiday Utah.  She graduated cum lauded from Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree  in social work.  She loved to reminisce with us about the women and children she helped throughout her lifetime including the 56 babies she helped place into adoptive families.
She was a faithful member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by loving step-sons, Steve Morrell, Stanley (Connie) Morrell, William (Carolyn) Morrell; sons, Walt (Patty) Morrell, Paul (Janna) Morrell, Philip Morrell, Jon (Melissa) Morrell, Joseph Todd Morrell, and her ever growing grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandchildren.
She is preceded  in death by her husbands, Dee Westover, Arlin Morrell,  LeRoy Jones; children, Steve Jones, Matthew Morrell, Richard Morrell; and siblings. Norman and LaRae.
Gwen loved the Church, life, and her adventuresome sons.  She was an amazing comforter and teacher to her family and never failed to lend a helping hand.  She imprinted love, compassion, patience, ambition, and her testimony to her posterity and the people she loved throughout her long and beautiful life.

Welcome home sweet Gwen, you will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11 am at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah.  A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to the service.  Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
