Harry J. Pifer unexpectedly passed away at home January 1, 2014. Harry was born in a farm house in Irvin (Grand Valley), Idaho September 27, 1932 to Harry and Delia Hincks Pifer. He was a graduate of Idaho Falls High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard for three years during the Korean War. He also graduated from Utah State University with a Masters in Electrical Engineering. He owned and operated his own business called Industrial Technology, LLC. He married LaWana Jean Thompson March 18, 2002. He is survived by Larry and Marsha Pifer, David and Peggy Pifer, Linda Pifer, Margie Kis, Alta Blake, Suzi and Jeff Lenz and his wife, Jean. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Neal Pifer. As per his wishes he wanted no viewing or funeral. His resting place will be his home town in Idaho. He is gone for now, but not forgotten. He will be greatly missed.
