Irene Williams Pettingill

Irene Williams-Pettingill, 83, was born to George and Leone Williams on August 22, 1929 in Vernal, Utah. She peacefully passed away on October 31, 2012 comforted by the presence of her family. She loved to ballroom skate at the Berthana Ballroom. She married her beloved husband Blaine Pettingill in 1950; they loved socializing and bowling with friends, camping and fishing at Flaming Gorge and boating at Lake Powell with her family. In Irene's elderly years she was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz. She is survived by her sister Billy; her children Dennis, Blaine, Gail, Cheryl, Doug and Dean; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband Blaine, son Keith, sisters Betty and Dora, parents George and Leone, and grandchildren Kari and Joey. The family would like to thank Mt Ogden Health and Rehabilitation for their quality living care and CNS for hospice. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
