The family would like to thank SYMBII Home Health and Hospice for their loving care and especially mom’s nurse, Shannon, who will forever be part of the family.
In lieu of flowers mom would like a donation to be made to Onecanmakeachange.org, a nonprofit charity started by her great niece or to The Wounded Warriors Project, because of her love of Veterans.

"It’s the double “SO” that you remember,
When "I love you SO SO much", she'd say,
With a big warm hug like a loving ember,
BECAUSE, that was Jackie’s way.
And oh, the goofy jokes she told,
And silly things she'd say,
Big Black Bear in Boise never got old,
BECAUSE, that was Jackie's way
It was her courage to fight and ever endure,
On a pain filled, gloomy day,
Yet bring out the sun with a smile so pure,
BECAUSE, that was just Jackie’s way.
And the bravery she had to lay down the sword,
An act valiance not many portray,
To give up the good fight, to trust in the Lord,
BECAUSE that was Jackie’s way.
When bogged down by life and teeming with grief,
When you feel you may fall astray,
Remember her humor, her love, her belief,
And ask, what’s Jackie’s way?"
