James Moncada

Ogden - James Moncada, 50, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from a lifetime battle of Asthma combined with COPD.

Jaime was a loving, loyal man toward his family and friends. His children always came first in any situation. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and nieces and nephews.

He loved music, cars and cruising. His smile and character will forever be in our hearts.

James is survived by his mother Mary Soto, two brothers Mauro Soto Jr. and Victor Anthony Melendrez, two sisters Lupe Ledesma and Angelica Luna, one daughter Angelina Moncada, three sons James Jerry Moncada, Isiah Elmer Moncada and Jeremy Anthony Moncada, three granddaugthers, Analicia Christina Diaz, Maliyah LinaMarie Moncada and Myleigh Mercedes Moncada, two grandsons Achilles Zsadist and Benicio James Sotelo (unborn).

James is preceded in death by his father Mauro Soto Sr. "Thay" and two brothers Micheal and Dino Moncada.

"I am following the path God laid for me, lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, he set me free."

Mass will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
